Owner of Visual Harmony, Shannon has led a life centered around artistic and creative endeavors of all kinds. Growing up traveling the country with her family and selling their line of stained glass and pottery items at arts and craft shows allowed her creative side to flourish. Spending years in the presence of amazingly talented people and the artwork they created from their heart and soul was extremely inspiring.
In her teens, Shannon created her own line of fused glass jewelry and began selling from her own booth at craft shows. Her fascination with glass continued to grow and eventually led her to an apprenticeship as a glass blower.
Owning her first home was yet another chance to unleash her creativity. This was the beginning of her love of faux finishing. Personalizing the look of her home with unique wall finishes brought much praise from friends and family and began to divert her attention from 3-dimensional glass work to 2-dimensional decorative painting and faux finishing.
Shannon now lives in a rural area outside Eureka Springs, AR where she feels constantly inspired by the very diverse, creative and beautiful community and environment that surrounds her.
